Diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol do not hurt: that is why they get neglected until they cause damage. Control means measuring, adjusting and measuring again, and that is what we do here, with our own lab and in Spanish.

How often should I be checked?

With diabetes, hemoglobin A1C is checked every three months while it is above target, and twice a year once it is at goal. Blood pressure, at every visit. Cholesterol, once or twice a year depending on your risk and whether you take medication.

What does follow-up include?

Lab work (A1C, glucose, lipid panel, kidney function), blood pressure and weight, a review of your medications and how you are actually taking them, and dose adjustments. Also a foot check if you have diabetes, since that is where the serious problems start.

Can I stop my medication if I feel fine?

Feeling fine is exactly what the medication and the habit changes are for: stopping sends blood pressure and sugar back up, almost always without warning. If something bothers you (dizziness, cough, swelling), say so and the regimen gets changed. Do not stop on your own.

What can I expect at the first visit?

A consultation with same-day lab work, clear written targets and a plan you can actually keep: real food from your daily life, walking and medication timing. If complications appear that need a specialist, we guide the referral.

We open seven days a week: Monday to Saturday from 9 AM to 9 PM and Sunday from 9 AM to 7 PM, so you can come after work or on the weekend without taking time off. No appointment and no insurance needed. Our whole team speaks Spanish, parking is free and the entrance is wheelchair accessible.

How payment works

You pay per visit, with no insurance involved. We take cash, debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover) and phone payments. We do not take checks. Ask about the price of your service when you arrive or over the phone: we tell you before we start, so you know what you are paying.
